I just finished and uploaded my very first video-tutorial! It shows an easy way to cut evenly distributet holes into a model, using the subsurf modifier.
Gen3 is a powerful parameter-driven tree model generator script for blender3d. It’s quite slow, but the many parameters alow to create a vast number of different tree-shapes. Playing with these parameters I found a way to generate an agave-like desert-plant. Here are my gen3-settings for agave I used.
With my third post I dive into the third dimension of computer graphics (and finally into one of the main topics of my blog)! Usually we percieve the world around us in three spatial dimensions.
